Last week, a group of ClimEx researchers presented the project to the regional climate modelling community at the the ICRC CORDEX (Coordinated Regional Downscaling Experiment) Conference in Stockholm by three posters.
- A general project overview was presented in:
R. Ludwig, M. Braun, M. Leduc, D. Kranzlmüller, R. Turcotte, H. Komischke and F. Brissette: Climate change and hdrological extreme events – Risks and perspectives for water management - An overview of the general concept of the climate model simulations was given by:
M. Leduc, M. Giguère, R. Ludwig, A. Frigon, M. Braun, J. Schmid, L. Sushama, J. Scinocca, G.B. Brietzke and H. Komischke: The ClimEx Project: Dynamical downscaling of a GCM large ensemble at very high resolution for Bavaria and Québec - A specific climate reference dataset methodology was explained in:
F. Willkofer, R. Wood, J. Schmid, F. v. Trentini and R. Ludwig: Creating a high temporal and spatial resolution climate reference data set for the modeling of hydrological extreme events
All posters were well received and attracted a lot of interest to the project within the community. The third poster even won one of three equal prices in the poster competition!
